Isagenix Soez Team Does Cleansing Product Peel Off Pounds?
Eighty percent of Americans over the age of 25 are considered overweight, according to a Harris Poll released Tuesday. In an effort to slim down, many are turning to “detox diets.”While all are not created equal, one plan is piling up success stories of people peeling off the pounds, Local 10 reported.
“I’ve had patients drop 10, 20, 30, 40, 50 pounds in a short period of time like two to three months,” said Dr. Michael Aruta. Aruta stayed busy performing liposuction procedures at his Fort Lauderdale practice until he started with a nutritional cleansing product called Isagenix.
“This is not a fast or a starvation diet,” said Aruta. “This is about getting the body healthy again which can stimulate weight loss.”
Patients are allowed to eat small portions of whole, natural foods on the program. The shortest regimen runs nine days and costs about $165.
“Along with healthy foods, patients are consuming products with minerals and nutrients the body needs to cleanse,” said Aruta. Dr. Carlos Levy, a weight-loss specialist with Broward Health Weston, said the plan is nutritionally sound because it’s not a fast.
“People should be very careful about just picking up any cleansing product at the drug store or health food store because not all are created equally,” said Levy.
Dr. Jorge Valdez, a Pembroke Pines podiatrist, started working with Aruta’s plan last summer and lost 58 pounds in three months.
“I continue to use the products to support my body and my weight loss,” Valdez told Local 10. “I feel better. I feel good again, and that’s the biggest bonus.”
